BEND WEATHER & ATTIRE
Bend is a high desert environment with low humidity year round. August is hot and dry with cooler evenings. Temperature ranges from 50s in eve and 80-90s during the day. A helpful weather site: www.wunderground.com/US/OR/Bend/KCVO.html
Bring shorts, long pants, layers, rain jacket, comfy foot wear with closed toes for outside work, a sun hat and sunblock. Also bring slip on shoes/slippers/flipflops for inside wear at the Training Center. Since we're working outside mostly in the pens and fields, we ask you don't wear your barn shoes inside.
Bend is casual dress, no need to bring dressy clothes.
